Services Legalisation

Documents issued in Bulgaria for overseas destinations and vice versa usually carry a requirement for an “official translation” and, in certain cases, may also require a legalisation. Official translations and legalisation services are provided only by companies licensed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

INTERLANG has signed a contract with the Legalisation Department within the structure of the Consular Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pursuant to which the company is granted a licence to carry out official translations of documents and other papers from and into Bulgarian in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Legalisation is a procedure which verifies the authenticity of the document. It is carried out by the responsible officials of the Consular Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and involves affixing relevant stamps and signatures to the document concerned.
